This Irish Dry Stout is quite rich, black, and full bodied for the style, but it suits this beer nicely. Opaque body. Cocoa, coffee, and toasted grain smell flavor. Silky smooth feel. On tap at St. Augustine?s. Very dark brown, almost black, brown head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt. Taste roasted burnt malt, slightly sweet and hoppy. Burnt malt aftertaste. Dry. Good.
