Draught. Pours a clear amber color with a moderate white head. Nose and taste are both very hoppy and bitter - there’s a hell of a bite to this beer that makes for a great IPA. Beerman6686 (6611) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 28, 2012
This poured a dark orange color with a beige head. Aroma was medium fruity and herbal hops and some caramel malt. Flavor was much the same nice hop taste and some malt backibg decent joeneugs (6372) - Livermore, California, USA - DEC 19, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. It pours clear golden with a small off white head.the aroma is big tropical fruit with hints of peaches, mango, orange and only hints of pine. The flavor is drier with a bigger than anticipated bitter finish. Lots of pine with some bread and caramel malt. Some grapefruit and citrus peel as well. Pretty nice ipa. tap @ San Diego Brew Co. Pours a lightly hazed deep gold with a frothy white head that left some great lacing. Great nose of fresh citrus hops and light grain. Flavor was a little more grainy with not much bitterness. I could have sat and smelled this beer all day. BMan1113VR (7930) - Los Angeles, California, USA - FEB 18, 2011
On tap. Pours with a clear golden-orange with a large white head and great lace. Aromas of orange and big citrus, zest, sticky and resiny. Fruity and a touch estery. Flavors of tangerine, pine, caramel, and sticky. Light in the finish with a hint of fusel for the ABV. Not much. Lingering bitterness. Lively and medium dry.
