100ml draught at Taphouse Copenhagen. Filmy layer over a hazy amber coloured body. Fair lacing. Smell of marmalade, berries, dried fruits and caramel. Malt-fruity taste of caramel, lemon and grapefruit, slightly perfumed. Bittersweet to the ending. Fine bodied. Quite pleasing (13.11.2015). Muggus69 (2807) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - OCT 4, 2015
650mL bottle from Slowbeer.
Hazy orange body, holds a creamy white head.
Luscious aroma of hops - bitter orange, mandarin, resiny leaves, pine sap, pink grapefruit juice, with biscuity malt underneath.
Seriously slick, chewy, resiny, almost tannic texture, very full moderate carbonation.
Malt more pronounced on the body - biscuity, pale caramel/golden syrup, some toastiness - doesn’t last long, assaulted by BIG resiny hops, stacks of sweet mandarin & bitter orange-like citrus notes, leafy, pine, dried herbal undertones linger. Bitterness is all-conquering, lingers for an eternity with a subtle warmth.
Very aggressive, very bitter, yet almost a sweetness to the hops, very nice. The_Osprey (9649) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - SEP 23, 2015
Bomber at home watching RWC 2015. 9.2%, undated. Vibrant dark orange, still, big foamy creamy head, thick lacing. Aroma is rosewater, pine, fresh mint, toffee-ish sweetness. Body is medium, tingly carbonation, smooth. Taste is very punchy - a mouthful of spice up front. Pine, resinous, strongly floral, lots of booze, perfume. Loads of sandalwood in the finish. Woah - probably the hoppiest, most bitter beer I’ve had. A bit too much maybe - slow drinking! Sort of enjoyable and hard work at the same time. StoutHead (993) - DENMARK - SEP 17, 2015
On tap. Pours a hazy amber with a small white head. Hoppy aroma. Taste is if malt, lots and lots and lots of hops, resin and citrus. A bit sweet but it is completely dominated by hops. Bitter and dry. Very good.

Bottle from Bacchalalia, Cambridge. Drunk at home. Dark yellow-orange, somewhat murky. Aroma is pine resin, dough, mango, caramel, raspberry, vanilla (in tha order more or less). Big bitter taste, balanced by some fruity sweetness until the end, when the intensity of the bitterness whacks you over the head like a ton of bricks. Focussed bitter finish. Thick, gooey texture, but not so much that you forget that this is an IPA, although a monster one. tandembrauer (1662) - Stavanger, NORWAY - JUN 22, 2015
