Pours dark amber orange w/some clouding that disipates quickly. Smells of fresh cut grass. The first taste is crisp and clean and then the hops hit you. This beer is awesome. It is everything that it claims to be, it is a truely awesome brew. Cheers!

Fat @Syltan, Malmö. Bärnstensfärgad öl med vitt skum. Doft av malt, karamell, citrus och tallbarr. I smaken tillkommer grapefrukt och kåda. Oljig munkänsla.

Pours hazy amber with a medium frothy white head. Aromas of mango, peach, apricot, resin, pine. Taste is very fruity and quite grassy with a pleasant bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation.

Heavenly orange brown color. Smells of sweet malt and some hops. Taste is super hoppy, sweet, but balanced. Very nice.

Moylan’s Hopsickle is hopped to hell and back, but it has some nice malty shoulders to stand on. It leaves absolutely no doubt about being a West Coast Imperial Ale, but the big caramel malt layer keeps this hop-forward brew in check. Amber-orange coloring. Pithy tropical fruit smells with some damp, dank pine needles. Flavor goes with the nose. Plenty of aggressive American hops. Pine, grapefruit, orange, peach, and floral notes. It’s resinous but not as bitter as you might expect. Finish is hugely dry yet surprisingly smooth. It’s good to see distribution from this brewery in my area. I hope that’s a trend that continues.

(Moylans Hopsickle Imperial India Pale Ale) At MOUT Bierfestival, Nijmegen, 150 ml. Deep copper orange colour on the body, tall and thick off-white head on top, with very good retention. Aroma has caramel malts, oranges, orange peel, a bit of grass and straw too. Nicely bitter taste with caramel malts, faint citrus, oranges. Medium thin body, good carbonation. Good.

Bottle. Sensoric. Deep amber with white, denied to semi-sensed, three finger head. Good head retention and perfect lacing. Aroma is mainly resinous and piney with strong citrus accent (orange, grapefruit), in the background hints of tropical fruits. Moderately balanced with some caramel and candy-like notes. Taste is medium to high bitter, rather constant thru the whole of degustation, but slightly intensifies in the end. Medium to full body, sticky and creamy texture, average carbonation, finish is medium bitter and long. In overall nice DIPA, totally focused on rather piney and resinous hops. Nice bitterness. definitely worth trying for beer and hops geeks.
