Night_Cap (119) - Southern Highlands, AUSTRALIA - AUG 8, 2016
Can 500ml. Served at cellar temperature. Pours copper with a red tint. Head is off-white, averaged sized and quickly dissipates. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of burnt toffee, milk chocolate, figs and glazed cherries. Flavour is smooth with a light earthy bitterness, lightly toasted malts, milk chocolate, burnt brown sugar, nuts, raisins and tea leaves. Medium bodied with light carbonation and an average length finish. A little thin and one dimensional, but not a bad winter warmer by any means.

phaleslu (10546) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 28, 2016
Draft at the brewery. Pours a clear amber color with a small beige head that settles into a ring. Notes of caramel, brown sugar, toasted malts, earth, old fruits, toffee, and dead leaves. Medium-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a sweet, sticky mouthfeel with a bit of a spoiled-like off note. Could be okay but it’s a bit off. Sub-par for the style.
