Dry oxidised rich ale aroma, reminds me of some Latvian traditional malty brews, but with a ton of raisins too. Similar taste, some apple joins the mix. Finish is dry, and nutty-to-woody-to-papery. Palate is light, not feeling like an 8%-er. Im not getting alcohol in the taste either. Whats the BB on this, as this is very oxidised? But I like that.
660ml bottle (thanks FatPhil). Hazy brown color. Medium size, off-white head, stays. Dusty, berries, milky and some spices in aroma. Kind of bland aroma. Sour, caramel, berries, milky, buttery in taste. Buttery and caramel in aftertaste. Sharp carbonation. Buttery mouthfeel. Meh brew. martjoobolut (4229) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - JUN 1, 2017

Bomber. Sweet malty aroma. Clear, dark amber color with off white head that fades, little lacing. Flavor is a little licorice, sweet, malty. Didn’t taste like high alcohol. Full body. Overall, a petty good scotch ale.

22 oz Bomber poured into a tulip glass. Pours a dark reddish copper with a medium pale head with a lasting lacing. Caramel, dark fruit, licorice, malty. Alcohol note, you can’t really taste the alcohol, you can feel it. This is good scotch ale, I could recommend it to friends. wxman (1814) - O’Fallon, Illinois, USA - MAR 14, 2017
Pours a clear garnet color with a fine resilient pale yellow head. Aroma is caramel and licorice. Taste is very sweet caramel malt, buttered biscuits, a hint of licorice and mild hop bitterness at the close. Smooth and delicious. HourGlass13 (849) - North Carolina, USA - FEB 27, 2017
Clear amber pour, topped with a beige swirling head. Aroma is sweet malt, candied fruit, spice, and biscuit notes. Taste is like fruit jam, tangy fruit rinds, light spice, malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation. Sweet, a touch boozy. beeebon (443) - Cornwall, ENGLAND - JAN 28, 2017
Pours a ruby brown slightly hazy colour with small short lasting bubbly tan coloured head. Aroma is strong sweet toffee malt with raisins, prunes, slight note of fig rolls and general sort of stewed fruit with a slight presence of alcohol. Taste wise it is initially very sweet as expected however this soon gives way to a cleansing bitterness which is also a touch sour in a pleasant way, nowhere near as cloying as I initially expected, fairly complex. Mild carbonation, enough to offset the slightly oily stickyness. Long lingering flavour and slightly dry on the finish. Pretty good Lowenbrau (4141) - Asturias, SPAIN - JAN 23, 2017
