COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Moylander Double IPA is fat and resiny, with aggressive and excessive hops swinging on an enormous malt backbone like naughty monkeys on a vine. Double malt, double hops - do the math, it's academic.

UPDATED: NOV 21, 2006 Bottle. Tasty brew. Very citrus hop aroma. Very nice. Color is cloudy orange. Head is minimal, lace is all over the glass however. Small sweetness of malt tries to stand up to the hop juice. long slow hop finish. Nice, quite good actually. A little more malt would be nice.9/3/8/3/17<P>Bottle purchased in October, consumed Nov. 06. Medium amber colored and clear. Nice off-white head that is quite retentive and leaves great lacing. Aroma is piney and sweet, bordering on fresh cut Christmas tree. Medium bodied, just lightly syrupy. More than ample hop bitterness, no harshness. Piney and light citrus rind, great malt balance. Lingering hop bitterness and flavor. Tasty. 9/4/8/4/17.

tap at moylans. pretty decent stuff, expected full grapefruit aroma, plenty of sweetness, orange mango cordial and then decent bitter orange pip finish

Didnt find this one to be as heavy duty on the hops as I might have expected. However, its a fantastic beer none the less. It pours a great looking dark cloudy copper color with a small to medium sized ivory head. The nose is floral citrus hops. Creamy smooth malt flavors with an underlying sweetness. Soon to be followed by a moderate hop bite that lingers in the finish. Good stuff!

UPDATED: AUG 28, 2004 Bottled in 5-04.Nice aroma of citrus hops and raisin malt(typical of the style but this was nailed if you ask me)much cleaner tasting than say the eleven and call me crazy but, I enjoyed this a tad more than the ruination.Good resin pine hop conten( slight tease of roastiness).I could use more bitterness but all in all I really enjoyed this. All around, fresh, smooth and the deep ruby orange colo,,,r phat head and lace.Very worth trying if you love IIPAs.

Small fizzy white head with a nice lasting creamy ring. Attractively clear reddish-amber body. Dusty/fruity hops make up the aroma, along with some bubblegum and caramel. Flavor is a subdued, dry hoppiness and again with the fruity hops. Finish is distinctly grapefruit rind, but not overly "rindy" (probably some residual sweetness balancing there). Overally, very good... I like the fruity and non-overpowering hops.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2006 Dark orange and cloudy. Small head. Floral hops and citrus aromas. Nice body, sweet with long hop finish.

Alpha King Competition 2006: Poured a clear amber color with an off-white head. Grapefruit hop foward aroma with a decent malt back. Big piney hop flavor. Very nice beer. Strong but balanced.

This beer is a lightly murky dark orange color with a medium thin light beige head. Thin lacing throughout. The aroma is very hoppy with citrus and grassy notes. Medium-bodied and crisp with tart hops, pine and fruit flavors. The hops slowly but surely overpowers the other flavors. The finish is dry and somewhat astringent. I like the dose of hops this beer provides but it could stand a little more substance to even it out.

This was a dyn-o-mite IPA. Amber with weak beige head didnt look very appealing but the aroma was potent hops, grapefruit, pine. Thick and rich mouthfeel. The flavor was BIG. Hops, citrus. Sweet to bitter. Grabs you. Strong alcohol finish. Potent stuff. Way to go!

Bottle. Good hop nose. Kind of sweet a fruity too. Cloudy dark orange hue. Very intense earty and floral bitterness at first and it gives way to nice malt back bone. Pretty balanced. Must try more when I can.

The hops were a real ass kicker in this one! Very tangy and bitter on the back of the tongue. Like swallowing a handful of hops. Hop heads will bow down to this one!
