Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is almost like a dreamsicle with a little chocolate and malt. Flavor is chocolate, orange and malt, kind of like and orange tootsie pop. DIfferent beer, but not bad. Atom (2558) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 20, 2013
Bomber pours a dark brown/black with a large tan head. Aroma of orange soda, chocolate malt, and a slight hop presence. Taste is kinda like a bland tootsie roll with some artificial orange extract with some bitterness on the finish from the hops. DedicatedToFun (4000) - Santa Monica, California, USA - APR 14, 2013
UPDATED: APR 20, 2013 Not bad go giants celebration ale for San Francisco that stuck, happy to be apart of this. Nice blend of orange hint in a dark brew. Maris (1573) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - JAN 16, 2013
From a 650ml bottle on 13/1/2013 (shared by Butz with thanks). Pours a very dark brown with a small head. Has quite an unusual basement aroma with some fruity (orange) notes. Flavour wise, this is the beer equivalent of a jaffa - you get lots of sweet candied orange and chocolate malt. The texture is quite creamy. A slightly odd but pretty good beer. Overall, a nice brew. Aroma was thick with candied orange peel, some chocolate, prunes, and a touch of sweetness. Pour was very black with a light khaki head. Flavors follow the aroma: Chocolate, lightly sweet, tons of citrus (orange and tangerine). Nice stuff.

What an interesting beer... It smelled like those orange-flavored chocolate balls but with a slight earthy background. Is this supposed to be a porter? The taste is dry and fruity with soft oranges, dry cocoa and a pretty mellow finish with roasty malts and chocolate. A tad confusing on the palate but pretty good too. mrmartin (780) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 5, 2012
Black pour with big tan head. Nose is resiny hops, roasted malts and a lot of orange zest. Oily body, orangey citrus, chocolate, roasted malts.

650ml bottle. Black in colour with an even layer of tan foam. Caramel malt aroma with some chocolate in there as well. Light in the mouth with a smooth mellow aftertaste. DentonShanks (25) - California, USA - OCT 23, 2012
Beer with a slight orange or citrus zest. Tastes a little flat or stale, and lacking in flavor. Smells good like a fruity beer should. May be good in small quantities to pair with certain a food, but it is not a drinking beer for me.

Clear light dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, chocolate - thin chocolate. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet, light acidic and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, salty, tart orange. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
