Level 42 Bottleshare. Almost opaque dark brown beer, tidy tan head. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Soft dark malts, trace of dark chocolate. Tangy orange, some orange peel. Soft finish. Seems more like a flavoured stout, lacks hop punch. It’s fine.
Bottle care of Kenny. It pours darkest brown - black with a medium beige head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, charred wood, dark chocolate, orange peel, cocoa powder, earth and dirt. The taste is smooth, toasty, earthy roast, charred wood, cocoa, earthy, orange peel and earth with a dry, woody finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Not a huge amount going on, but easy drinking. Holmen2 (3567) - NORWAY - AUG 15, 2016
From tap at Mi2 at Cardinal 15.08.16. Black. Brown head and lacing. Roasted malt and dark caramel in aroma. Similar taste, with orange zest and liquorice. gunnar (9007) - Sandnes, NORWAY - AUG 15, 2016
On tap at Cardinal. Pours black with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma of red ripe berries, weak liquorice. Taste is light sweet dark red fruits, cherries, easy drinkable but nothing extra, lack the roasty burnt notes that i like in an BIPA.
