Sample on tap at the brewpub. Black pour with thin lacy brown head. Aroma is roasty, rich roasted malt, light coffee, molasses, licorice. Taste is bitter, roasty with lingering licorice / dark chocolate. Palate is med-full bodied with light carbonation. Leighton (21879) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 1, 2016
Draft at the brewery taproom. Pours black-brown with a creamy beige head. The nose has some ashy roast, cocoa. Medium sweet flavor with more ashy roast, bittersweet cocoa, scorched earth. Full bodied with average carbonation. More strong bitterness to finish, charcoal, baking cocoa, earth, ash. Not bad, just a bit hard-edged. Homer321 (5143) - Melboring, Florida, USA - FEB 1, 2016
Draft at source. Moderate cocoa and chocolate aroma with hints of coffee. Pitch black pour with a small off white head. Strong coffee and roast up front followed by a touch of cocoa powder. Slight alcohol noted in the ears. Pretty decent. VsXsV (4523) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 1, 2016

Bottle from Boxbeers, thanks Jan for sharing. Thick, light beige, creamy head over a very dark chestnut brown beer with ruby hue but in general appearance very close to ink black. Pleasant aroma of bitter chocolate, dried banana, burnt wood, coffee grounds, wet hay, bayleaf, beef stock, black tea, haemoglobin iron, dry autumn leaves. Meaty and beefy, almost porcini-like umami flavours in onset paired with a restrained candied cherry sweetishness and a basic, light sourishness, soft carbo fit for the style. Oily, slick mouthfeel, a bit thinner than expected but providing enough structure and hauling from a rich, nutty and chocolatey maltiness with a ’natural’ iron touch, roasted in the end but not outspokenly coffeeish, some peppery hops adding further drought along with a dash of bourbon-like alcohol which otherwise remains well hidden for a beer of this strength. Well balanced ’basic’ example of the style, very enjoyable. ljthiessen (1391) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - DEC 8, 2015
Bottle. Black pour with a creamy tan head. Aroma is cocoa and rich chocolate, sweet and a little roasty, some coffee and creaminess. Taste is sweet for an imperial stout, but not cloying, some nice chocolate and coffee notes, again a little creamy. Low carbonation, a little thin but still very flavourful. Almost feels like it's on nitro. Cepos (14) - DENMARK - DEC 4, 2015
Meget fin. God til risalamande! God duft af rister korn. Sort med brun skum

I didn't take any extra notes when I tried this beer for the first time but I'm gonna try it again and update my comments.
