UPDATED: JUL 25, 2007 Bottled. A pitch black beer with a huge brown head - due to a high level of carbonation. The aroma is sweet with notes of chocolate, coffee, and hard roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with strong chocolaty notes giving it slightly acidic notes, the hops giving it a quite bitter end. joergen (28704) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAR 31, 2007

Very dark brown, rich head. Loads of chocoalte up front. Sweet. Molasses make up the majority of the flavours and the thick, syrupy mouthfeel. Notes of liucorice. Flavourful, but unbalanced.
Bottle at home ... with Jan and charlotte ... black ... big bubbly tan head ... nice big chocolate roast nose... big chocolate ...little bitterness.... but good solid roast and lovely chocolate ... light milk suger ... very drinkable and very well hiden alcohol. madmitch76 (25101) - , Essex, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2016

Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is light, semi dry and has reasonable fine carbonation. Odd dark malts, rich and with a trace of cream but also carrying a distinctly tea like tang. Light floralness and a touch of dark fruits. Finishes dry and spicy. Mmm. Okay.
