Leighton (22084) - London, Greater London, - JUN 11, 2013
Bottle shared at Bruce’s in London on the inaugural evening of Jack’s Farewell Tour - big thanks to Bruce! Pours black with a creamy brown head. The nose is slightly medicinal, lots of dark malts, some burnt toast, general charred malts. Medium sweet flavor, lots of booze-soaked dark fruits, sugary dark chocolate, bitter earth and baking cocoa. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, lots of charred dark malts, strong roast, booze, dark fruits, raisins. Nice beer but certainly heavy.

Bottle shared at tasting. Dark brown beer with tan head. Aroma of milk chocolate, cherries, red fruits. Taste is medium sweet and light to medium bitter, milk chocolate, cherries, light coffee. Medium body, soft to average carbonation. OK, but disappointing (similarly to base version).

Draught at St. Augustine's, Vancouver
Smooth, with excellent balance of roasted malt and dark chocolate, mild whiskey barrel, a bit creamy in the final, and a hint of toasted nuts.
Excellent.

Black. Thin head. Big sticky nose with brown sugar, molasses, touch of barrel, really nice. Good balance. Sticky, sweet, rounded character.

mcberko (18599) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 15, 2017
On tap at St. Augustine's, pours Black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of whiskey barrels, medium roast and cocoa. Flavour is intense, with lots of whiskey barrels, roasted malt, and cocoa. Loads of barrel, finishing woody and warming. Very nice stuff.

Gerbeer (3897) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 15, 2017
On tap. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of cola, thin whiskey, and toasted malts. Flavors follow same with ground coffee if I think about it. The barrel has thinned the original, losing the dark fruit and coffee and thinning with alcohol.

pictoman (1186) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 14, 2017
Poured from the tap. Near black with tan head. Mild chocolate and roast malt. Bourbon notes almost unnoticeable. Nevertheless, better than the original.

beerplace (1960) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 14, 2017
On tap at St. Augustine's during 54 taps Beerthirst event. Pours a da4k brown with a beige head. Aroma is roasted, slightly chocolatey, fruity. Taste is similar. Some slight smokey and bourbon notes on the background. It is quite pleasant, but there is no easily noticeable bourbon character, unfortunately.

Draft - Toasty and dark chocolate. Jet brown black with a small beige head. Dark chocolate, roast and toast with a bitter finish. Not really you BA notes.

SirLimpsalot (4452) - SWEDEN - JUL 29, 2017
@Basunen 17-7-29: ingen större doft frisk rent av lite metallisk. Smaken ok med små toner av choklad. Ingen whisky tycks kännas. Liten besvikelse.

Korcz (3389) - Warsaw, POLAND - APR 16, 2017
Podobne do Lilith BA. Intensywna paloność, gorzka czekolada (trochę sztuczna), wysoka goryczka, sporo ciała, fajny aftertaste. Beczki mało
