Listed as Barrel Aged Hopsickle at brewpub. Few signs of barrel aging. Mostly tastes like aged Hopsickle. DIPA flavors drifting a bit. Strong alcohol kick. badlizard (5533) - Berkeley, California, USA - DEC 13, 2009
Clear golden orange with no head. Sweet wine and citrus hops aroma and taste with a nice crisp dry finish with some notes of oak. Very good overall. Cornfield (5570) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - NOV 22, 2009
FoBAB 2009. This poured a slightly hazed light gold body with a small white head. This showed few effects of being in a barrel. The aroma was full of fresh citrusy hops with a touch of resin. The taste had a light caramel sweetness at its base but all about the hops in both flavor and bitterness. The finish was a solid, lingering dry bitterness. Very nice indeed. drewbeerme (3920) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 14, 2009
