Surprisingly golden color with a noticable lager-ish aroma (which isn’t overbearing). Nice lacing down my glass as this thing boasts a creamy taste. Spices are evident, much more so as the brew adjusts to room temp. I enjoy the slight pepperiness in the background. Definitely an interesting holiday brewski.

Dark brown with medium beige head. Nice spicy gingerbread aroma. Quite dry herbal bitterness, not sweet. Caramel notes. For having good taste too watery.

Bottle, 6%. Clear dark amber/brown with small beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toasted, spices, cinnamon and oxidized? Flavour is malt, caramel, spices, herbs, sweet, little flat, cinnamon , sweet, toasted and a little bitter.

I get the spiced aroma but it smelled like cigarette butts. Tasted the same too me. Good idea poor executions ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear Auburn with a small white head. Aroma of cinnamon, anise, caramel and cardamom. Taste is cinnamon, anise, mace, caramel and a light bitterness in the finish. Alot of flavor a winter warmer and easy to drink as all hell.

bubbleflubber (2235) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - MAR 29, 2015
Pours a copper-ruby into the glass with an eggshell cap head that leaves suds lacing. The nose is malty, spiced and somewhat vegetal/herbal. Flavors are of dry pie spices, malt, herbs and finishing with some grainy notes. The mouthfeel is active with carbonation. A medium-light body ensues, with the heavy spices and herbal notes leaving a semi-dry palate. Not bad, but it tries almost too hard to achieve the "winter" essence, seeming a bit over-spiced. The spices overbalance toward grains and herbs, missing out on some comforting sweetness that is normally found in a winter seasonal. It’s a perfectly "ok" brew, but not quite the complex, substantial offering one would expect to find for comfort during cold winter nights.

Bottle pour. Hazy copper amber with a large foamy tan head. Cinnamon, nutmeg, and coriander aroma. Full body slightly creamy body. Toasty cereal, nuts, and spice taste.

dlovell2 (2308) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - DEC 10, 2014
Pours copper color with off white head. Fruity, malty aroma with cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, light pepper, citrus zest. Sweet caramel malt with gingerbread and citrus zest. Spicy flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, corriander and spicy black pepper. A little pepper spice heat remains in mouth after swallow.

Draft at Sprenger’s. Reasonably bright amber with medium off-white foam. Puzzling aroma of pine sap and Szechuan peppercorn melts into kooky ginger and cinnamon. Cinnamon Toast Crunch meets Läkerol clumsily in the flavor. Clean ferment, but the finish is wanting for a bit more bitterment.. or something.

Suttree (6505) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 22, 2014
Brown, loose white head. Smells like chestnut and pine. Flavor is nutty and piney, with some cinnamon and nutmeg. Not bad.

AgentAle (1812) - Fort Mcmurray, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 8, 2014
Aroma is rich malts, cinnamon, fig, spice and molasses. Taste is sweet and almost chewy mouthfeel. Pretty rich flavors similar to aroma. The spiciness and cinnamon in particular come through. Light caramel and fig. Appearance is an orange /amber with a thin pearl creamy head that retains fairly poorly.
