Cask @ The Old Horse, Leicester. I don't know if it is because it is a particularly hot week, or they'd rushed it on because of a beer festival they were having and therefore wasn't very well kept or if this beer is meant to be like this. (Beer is normally kept ok in this pub). Very hazy golden colour, tastes like a homebrew I made once which wasn't very good. Hops are there but taste almost artificial with a nasal passage clearing astringency. I drank it though, but not sure why. Body was OK, but it is in cask.

Cask (gravity dispense) at Reading Beer Festival on 28 April 2011. Clear gold colour. There’s a touch of sulphur in the aroma although not so much as to be too intrusive. Clean mouthfeel but not a lot of depth to the flavours. Drinkable but could use more hops.
