Aroma is dark roasted malts, caramel, toffee and dark fruits. Taste is sweet malts, plums, raisins and fig. Appearance is a dark amber with a medium pearl head that retains fairly well. pictoman (1261) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 9, 2013
Poured from mL bottle. Clear medium brown with beige head, some sediment. Biscuit malt aroma, mild caramel. Banana flavour and some spice with mild fig and dark fruit, yeast. Silky texture. stantheman (1128) - British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 9, 2013
Bomber from Central City Liquor Store in North Surrey. Medium brown in color, with generous tan head. Banana and caramel on the nose. Fruits and malts on the tongue. A nice dunkel with a surprisingly high alcohol content. An imperial dunkel? THE_Beergod (5) - AUSTRALIA - JUN 13, 2013 does not count
Smooth with chocolate taste and fruity after taste (very much Belgium style). Only issue is the lack of head and bubbles. Excellent beer! The best I have had in Canada! sulawang (1217) - - MAR 15, 2013
Pours a nice med-dark copper brown with a smallish head, thin foamy retention, some slow streams. Sweet med-dark caramel malts on the nose - sweet and inviting.
Attack: burst of 8/10-sweetness, creamy/foamy nice silky mouthfeel
Mid-palate: sweet malts, caramel, brown sugar, mild woodiness, light bourbon/wood, light banana/vanilla
Finish: mild candied-sweetness, light-med malty bitter, clean & crisp
I like it. Alcohol takes a backseat or even the trunk as the malt/caramel/bourbon ride shotgun. Great balance and drinkability.

Brown-copper body and sweet aroma, modest head. Flavour is caramel notes with a wood finish. nielsedd (82) - Wisconsin, USA - AUG 4, 2012
Pours brown (with maybe a tad of red) and a nice tan head. Smells of spice and yeast. Tastes of banana, clove, chocolate, and bread. Better than I was expecting...I am admittedly not a big German wheat drinker. WheatKing (1351) - Phnom Penh, CAMBODIA - MAY 31, 2012
A beer I’ve much respect for. It’s candy for adult tastes, I suppose. The plum is strong in this one, in both taste and aroma. I also get that clove/banana taste I always do from the German wheats but it’s in the background here. It claims to be a dunkelweizen but the ABV makes it a weizenbock, I’m guessing. v1rgil (172) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 7, 2012
Pours toffee brown
Med head dissipates quickly
Sweet banana cloves
Rich malty caramel and chocolate banana sweetness clove finish.
Lingering aftertaste of caramel and doughy yeast. Crit (4116) - Surrey, British Columbia, CANADA - MAR 29, 2012
