Cavie (4760) - Arlington, Texas, USA - DEC 31, 2013
Bottle courtesy Fratto. Pours a clear orange red color with a light bubbly head. Aroma is sweet hops, a nice citrusy note with hops. Flavor is dry, hoppy sweet, sugary and candy. Wow this is actually nice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Great beer! Hoppy aroma with fruity after taste. For those who have tasted a "Matilda Bay -Fat Yak" it is similar but sweeter but unfortunately low on head and gas. Still, Mt Begbie can do no wrong with their "strong beers".

sulawang (1172) - - APR 10, 2013
pours a nice clear copper orange with a small head and thin retention, almost no activity. Strong citrus malts and sour hops on the nose. Attack: 5/10-sweetness, light creamy Mid-palate: very sharp bitter, dryness, bitter hops, orange peel, grapefruit with pith Finish: lingering hoppy bitter, slightly watery carry. Quite sharp bitter grapefruity hops on this one. Not the most gentle of IPAs, beware.

WHOA// THAT IS A NASTY HABIT//WHERES THE BALANCE// hop overload with a terrible lingering finish no balance or counteracting flavors just a good ol hop to the face no phone call ouch

Couleur ambrée foncé. Petite mousse. Goüt de caramel, malt et houblon. L’amertume est très bien équilibrée avec le malt.

A nice sudsy beer. Quite balanced with some bitter citrus and pinecone vs a smooth malt. Labeled as a ’strong beer’ but actually very approachable. I sensed a bit of dilution. A decent IPA.

Bottle at thirdeye11’s birthday party. Orange amber color with a white head. This is a very balanced IPA. I get a lot of biscuit malt, as well as some nice orange and pine notes from the hops. Not bad.

January 19, 2013 - bottle shared by BVery. Brownish orange pour with head that lasted. Nice balance of hops and malt in aroma and taste. Not expecting much from this one, but it was solid.

BVery (10716) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Bomber - thanks Andrew! Nice dense orange pour with a nice frothy white head. Good full palate, nice balanced hop profile. Very solid brew.

Pours a clear amber colour with some small white head (doesn’t last too long) with some nice lacing. Aromas of pine, citrus, some sweet malty notes, mellow but quite appealing. Flavours of sweet grapefruit and light piney notes, bitterness is mild, good malt profile. Very session-able IPA!
