Bottled sample. Dark orange in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of caramel, pine sap, and candied orange peel. Caramel and pale malts upfront on the palate, along with notes of black pepper, lemon, and wood. Moderately bitter finish. Too malt heavy for me, but not bad overall. cards04 (2784) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 7, 2012
Interesting IPA. Pours a maple syrup colour with creamy white head. Smells like pine, grapefruit, a touch of juicy tropical fruit, and some interesting smoky/woody/ savory aromas. Nice smooth palate. Malty start, not too sweet, milder bitter finish...all around interesting ipa that I enjoyed. oakbluff (448) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 5, 2012
Bomber- very clear copper, one finger fizzy white head and lacing. Nose- slightly surprised to find some resinous piney notes- has potential. Mixed in with that nice hop is cracker and caramel. Taste- caramel and toasty cereals. A bit watered down. That hop nose doesn’t carry forward all that strong in taste and is more in the background. Certainley a very well balanced ipa, but not to my preference. Slightly sweet finish. Sessionable yes, depth of flavour and mouthfeel - not so much. Decent. dreamflower (790) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 5, 2012
This is the sort of IPA I like. Not crazy bitter, but with plenty of sweet malts and honey. Aroma of grapefruit. northropfrye (3515) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 5, 2012
UPDATED: SEP 1, 2012 Citrusy aroma. Attractive amber colour with last foamy white head, nice lacing. Not overly bitter, actually quite malty and sweet. Nice.

Not your typical hop-head bomb. Delicate, with a fantastically citrusy nose. Along with Inversion, this is one of my North American favorites. Lagerboy (2189) - British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 26, 2012
Clear light amber, fading foamy off white head. Piney citrus hop aroma. Crisp resiny hop taste, some citrus notes, low malt background. Average carbonation. Finishes hoppy, dry and bitter. Hopiliscious! LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary) Enjoyit (3809) - Vadum, DENMARK - JAN 25, 2012
Clear copper of color with an off white head. An aroma of hops, citrus, grapefruit, weak caramel and bread. A flavor of caramel, bread and hops. Sask89 (514) - Regina, Saskatchewan, CANADA - JAN 21, 2012
Pours a deep amber colour with a small off-white head, clear. Aroma is predominately of hops with a little grapefruit scent. Taste is mildly sweet but more about the bitterness through the finish. Medium body, smooth and light on the palate with average carbonation. ardiesr (62) - British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 28, 2011
Pours with a small off-white head that lingers well. Pine and citrus aroma, not too overpowering. Some caramel aroma. Flavour is pine notes followed by citrus, some biscuity malt as it moves into a bitter dry finish. Could use more maltiness or caramel. Overall a decent IPA with a thin body.
