Bottle. Caramel malt and weedy hay aroma. Hazy amber with moderate head. Lightly sweet caramel malt and moderately bitter herbal/quinine hay flavor. Good body. Pretty good. alexsdad06 (11223) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - DEC 11, 2010
12 oz. bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized creamy off white head. The aroma favored light citrus, earthy, and grassy hops with a hint of caramel sweetness. The flavor had some initial caramel sweetness before becoming more biscuity. Hops were earthy and grassy and created an overall dry bitterness toward the finish. Very slight hints of citrus come through.

UPDATED: OCT 24, 2014 12 oz. bottle from a six pack purchased at The Party Source for my rehearsal dinner. Pours a clear autumn orange with a small off-white head, creamy, that lingers all the way down. A nice English-style ale, but hoppy, with notes of fresh, grassy, citrusy hops and toasty malts. Light brown sugar and caramel sweetness. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation. Clean, malty, and fresh, with a bit of lingering bitterness. 12oz bottle. Awesome amber-orange color with lots of fine, floating particles suspended within. Minimal off-white ehad, with plenty of spotty lace. Great, tropical citrus hoppy nose, with some spice. Great tasty malt body to back it up and give it a savory balance, but with some light sweet taste, too. Nice medium body, good texture, easy to drink, mildly refreshing, appropriate soft carbonation. Another great ESB... This style is definitely growing on me

Bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.). Looks good; a somewhat cloudy amberish brown with foamy beige head somewhere between off-white and light beige that steadily dissipates into lacing. Smells sweet with notes of dark fruit and floral hops. Tastes like it smells with a bit more maltiness. Solid on the palate. Good beer. BuckeyeBoy (8860) - Boise, Idaho, USA - FEB 8, 2015
