Growler acquired in trade with mreusch (thanks!). Poured a dark black color with brown edges and an averaged sized than head. Aromas of roast, chocolate, coffee, and vanilla. Roasty. Tastes of roast, caramel, chocolate, and coffee. egajdzis (6613) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 15, 2007
Poured an opaque black / red color with a medium sized, light tan head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of vanilla, roasted malts, and chocolate. Taste of chocolate, roast, light caramel malts, with dark fruits, and a fully attenuated, dry, finish. A straight-forward stout here. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - AUG 14, 2007

Appearance: Pours a black body with a thin, khaki-colored head.
Smell: Sweet-smelling aroma of coffee, dry cocoa, and liquorice candy.
Taste: A tasty blend of caramel, chocolate milk, and liquorice tea with only the tiniest measure of hops showing as it warms. Ends with a bit of roastiness on the altogether soft, sweet finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Low carbonation.
Drinkability: Though a light stout, its wonderfully flavorful and immensely drinkable.

Growler courtesy of cewldre: Pours an opaque black with a thin, frothy, thin-lacing dark tan head. Aroma of sweet dark earthy caramel and roasted malt. Body starts fairly full and dark chocolatey sweet with some mild dark fruity complexity and lightly roasted malt toward the finish. A smooth and enjoyable sweet stout. Very big tyhank you to Cewldre, and mystery 2.0. This stout poured dark brown with very small head. Nose had chcolate, cooffee and caramel, and bit of smoke. Medium body with hints of all nose sencts. There was some nice warming as I finished this growler! Thanks, good stout. garrison (812) - Cin. city, Ohio, USA - MAR 21, 2007
From a sixty-four ounce "growler" purchased at "Keller’s IGA" in Cincinnati, Ohio - This brew poured a very black liquid with afine tan head and coffee aroma. Tastewise, it isn’t a rich stout, because it’s somewhat lacking in body, but it has an interesting "harsh"finish.
