12 ounce bottle from Belmont Party Supply. Pours nearly black with a thin brown head that fades quickly. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and espresso. The taste is roasted malts, rich coffee notes, caramel and a faint hoppy finish. Thin-medium bodied. Very tasty. I could drink this all day... and the next day. Never had these guys beers before tonight, but so far Im impressed.

Growler from Party Source. Pours an opaque black color with a medium thick and foamy tan head that diminishes slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. Roasted malt and coffee in the nose, plus a hint on anise. Rich and creamy body with a nice roasted character. Flavors of sweet malt, milk chocolate and coffee are all present along with a bit of hops. The finish is roasty with a coffee aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Thanks to cewldre for a growler of this as part of Mystery Swap 2.0. Pours deep brownish black with a miniscule tan head that disappears rapidly. Aroma of heavy roasty dark malt, some chocoff, molasses, and a bit of hazelnut. Medium to light palate heft, with flavors of roasty malt, subdued cacao, molasses, and hazelnut. Fairly complex if a bit thin, Im looking forward to finishing this growler tonight with a Rocky Patel Fusion cigar.

12 oz. bottle. Pours balck in color with a small tan head that disappears quickly. The aroma is a pleasing mix of roasted malt, mildly sweet caramel, chocolate, and a hint of coffee. The flavor is big roasted malt and black coffee. The chocolate makes its way in as well. This finishes rather abruptly. Medium-full bodied and smooth. I am very happy with this beer especially since it is a small local company.

12 oz. bottle. Dark brown pour, tan head. Coffee and chocolate in aroma and flavor. Better stout than expected from what is now shaping up to be my favorite Cincinnati brewery.
