Bottle @ home, courtesy of DrSilverworm. Thanks! Pours a hazy dark orange appearance with a creamy, off white head. Grassy, herbal, woody, honey, slightly bitter, wheat aroma. A bit spicy, chewy, herbal wheat malty, somewhat bitter, bland flavor. Bleh. jsquire (4490) - St. Marys, Ohio, USA - JUL 21, 2013
Clear golden color out of the bottle with a short lived white head. Dusty grain nose with some citrus notes. Strong bready malt backbone, orange zest hops, some grain astringency, and a long citrus hop finish. Not bad for a summer seasonal. superspak (5600) - Michigan, USA - SEP 10, 2012
12 ounce bottle into weizen glass, no bottle dating. Pours hazy golden amber color with a nice 2 finger dense head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Some nice spotty lacing clings to the glass. Aromas of orange, lemon zest, pepper, pine, wheat, floral, herbal, and light yeast spices. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and decent strength. Taste of orange zest, lemon, pine, wheat, pepper, bread, herbal, floral, and light yeast spices. Lingering notes of citrus, pine, wheat, herbal, and floral on the finish for a short bit. Nice balance of flavors with good hop complexity. No cloying flavors at all; fairly clean on the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a creamy and lightly crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Hardly any alcohol noticed after the finish as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a very nice hoppy wheat ale. Nice balance of flavors with good hop presence; extremely smooth and easy to drink. Very enjoyable. rondphoto (4448) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - SEP 6, 2012
Clear dirty gold with a big white head and strips of lace. The taste is unusual - begins with bitter wheat and moves through light lemon to a sour, tart finish. It is different, but not enjoyable, not as solid as other Mt. Carmel offerings. Not recommended. RobertDale (6480) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - AUG 26, 2012
12 ounce bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy gold with a small white head. Aroma of grain, citrus, and florals. Taste is lemons, wheat, florals, and malt. Pretty good.

from a bottle, cant see it, social surroundings prevent a glass.. smell is a little strong and volatile tho its rated at less than 5%. first taste is rather strong but does not go over the top. yes, wheat ale it is because it has very few if any hef attributes, fer sure. second taste reveals some ale attributes but i think i’m getting used to it now as i appraoch half bottle. can’t see much but what i do see thru the bottle is no sediment and it appears quite clear. sometimes i think i feel a tart thing hidden in there but it fades every time i look fer it. finish is a tad medicinal for a wheat, this definatly makes it an ale, slightly rude attributes and all. som e metal in theh end. well done wheat offering. It’s bright, citrusy, but with some other flavors there too. maybe even some roasty toffee flavors. nice and cold, it’s refreshing and addicting, I can’t stop at one. rangerred (989) - Johnson City, Tennessee, USA - JUN 20, 2012
12oz bottle into a pint glass.
Pours a slightly hazy dark yellow with a one finger white head. Just ok head retention and no lacing.
Lemon is quite prominent on the nose along with some caramel and a little bit of citrus hoppiness.
Some light lemon is up front on the taste with a little bit of bubblegum and clove and the slightest hint of caramel. Once again some citrus hop flavor is present all leading to a moderate drying bitterness. Mouthfeel has that soft feeling associated with wheat beers.
Overall, a pretty good summer thirst quencher and one I am glad I picked up.

Draft to pilsner. Looks decent; translucent like a lager though. Smells and tastes pretty good. Cascade? Good mouthfeel. A really good summer ale! JaBier (7973) - Capital City, Ohio, USA - APR 18, 2012
Bottle purchased at Grandview Carryout. Clear gold pour with a thin white head. Grassy and sorta musty hop nose with some malt. Creamy sweet malt flavor with a grassy hop finish.
