Courtesy of markwise. Pours deep dark amber with thin off white head. The aroma is a bit spicy with cinnamon and winter spices to go along with graham cracker, some caramel and breadiness. The taste has lots of winter spices (mostly cinnamon) followed by sweet malts and a thin layer of malt roastiness. This is a decent enough mild winter brew but not really equipped to deal with a real winter. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAY 1, 2010
@Tampa Wkly Gathering @OTH Thanks Markwise-12oz bottle-pours a light tan ring for a head and mahogany color. Aroma is medium malt-toffee. Taste is medium malt-toffee, some earthy hops. Medium body. Cavie (4717) - Arlington, Texas, USA - DEC 21, 2010
Bottle courtesy exiled. Clear reddish orange color. Roasted caramel notes. Some sweetness with Ginger on the nose. Flavor is sweet with a spice that cuts through the air. Spiced. BelgianBeerGal (4066) - Panama City, Florida, USA - JAN 30, 2012
Local Belmont bottle. This was pretty nice overall. Maybe a little heavy and darker than expected. The ginger really added some spice to it as well. Fine. AndyReynolds (1085) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 10, 2015
It’s ok. Subtle on the spices stronger on the alcohol. Nice on the brew bus. But...on the lemo law shits fucked. Ya kno mean.

Enjoyed this although it is on the light side for an ale. Nice combination of spices. 60minuteman (1713) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 31, 2013
Bottle. Gifted. Malt and light hop presence. A little bitter, pretty sweet. Spice and cinnamon/sugar. Pine, ginger definitely. Not bad. Good winter ale, could be a session beer, but the sweetness is too much for me umich03jm (3513) - Flat Rock, Michigan, USA - DEC 31, 2014
Bottle thanks to DrSilverworm. Murky dark brown pour with a small head that fades to a ring and leaves some lacing. Aroma is mostly winter spices with some caramel and red fruit mixed in. Tastes like ginger, cinnamon, allspice, caramel, apples, and dark fruit. Not as overly spiced as some winter ales but it’s still a little more than I’d like. Medium body. Decent winter ale.
