On Tap at the Brewpub in LaGrande, OR. Nearly clear orange/light amber with a dense creamy almost nitro looking head. Malty and big, interestingly not as bitter/harsh as the IPA. Some of the malt profile seems a bit toasted and woody, like their others. Better, and easier that the Single IPA they have.
Sampled at GABF 2012. A solid first impression from this Eastern Oregon brewery. I will have to try again to get a bead on it but it gave me enough in one ounce to try again. Not heavy bitterness but it was there and ready. raphael (1286) - Portland, Oregon, USA - SEP 13, 2009
At the brewpub, something new. I smell resiny hops, alcohol, oak. Light amber w/ no head. Initial taste almost peach, then citrus hops. lean toward a pleasant but simple sweetness. finishes sweet
