Draft at the brewpub. Hazy orange in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of white grapefruit peel. grainy malts, and mild caramel. Flavors are of astringent pale malt, more white grapefruit, light caramel, and cypress. Medium bodied. Draft pour pint at the ski lodge. Pours a golden orange color with a foam head and lacing. Aroma is very mild, orange fruit, sweet. Flavor is malt forward, honey, and a lingering sugar sweet finish. Cloudy golden color with compact head. Pleasant hopping, a bit resiny, with a chamomile touch; the malt profile is rather simple. Ordinary bitterness.
Draft at the brewery. Clean crisp citrus hop. Good mouthfeel and texture. Golden color. Average carbonation. A solid easy drinking pale ale.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a clear golden-orange color with a thin white head that disappears quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. The aroma is lightly hopped with citrus and malt notes. Medium body with a relatively low bitterness. Citrusy hops and malt flavors. The finish is mildly bitter hops and lingers a short while. Just average overall.
