Draft at the brewery. Huge aroma of nuts and roasted hazelnut. Caramel notes. Average carbonation. Decent finish. Creamy slick texture. Pretty good.

On tap at Horse Brass Pub in Portland, OR--Dark brown bodied brew with a mild creamy beige head. Sweet honey nutty nose as the name indicates. Sticky, nutty, mouth-watering squirrel candy essence. Desert brew. Interesting, yet not sessionable. Would be nice with a bold dark coffee drink. 3fourths (9351) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 21, 2005
Dark copper and medium brown in color. Has a tinny honey metallic smell, similar to some other Mt Hood brews. For a brown ale, a style I don’t like very much, this one is very good: tastes lf almonds, honey, nuts, with a light honey and cheese finish... a roasty bread crust flavor at times, with some maple wood as well. Very tasty, and artfully designed.
