Reddish brown pour. Lots of berries and malt in the aroma. Flavor is too sweet...tons of fruit and sugar. Over the top.

Brown pour. The aroma is loaded with berryish sweetness over a bit of cocoa. Chewy lingering fruity flavour... meh. It’s kind of Plain Jane really. czar (9171) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 14, 2014
(disclaimer: infected, although it seems to be to its advantage) pours cloudy medium dark drown reddish with a small light beige cap, little retention and lacing. acetic blackberries, other red fruity jammy notes - raspberry leaf’s light astringency, coffee grinds and lightly roasted malts, some cheese, booze, pepper, woodsy - vanilla hints, sweetness - brown sugar if not plain sugar, minerals. moderately low carbonation, light to medium body - oily and sticky, semi-sweet, very lightly astringent, slightly tart and bland grassyspic-herbal finish. b3shine (8928) - Indiana, USA - DEC 25, 2013
Bottle to half-pint glass (shared with the Mrs.). Looks decent; a transparent blackberry brown with light beige head. Smells wheaty and malty with mild notes of blackberry. Tastes like it smells, but less balanced. Average (at best) on the palate. Eh. Strykzone (7422) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - APR 19, 2010
Sampled at Schlafly’s repeal. This beer poured quite reddish with just a tiny head. It was very sour with dry bitterness. Blackberry notes were strong and nice. The blackberry was the saving grace here. It fell short otherwise. Patrickctenchi (6624) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - FEB 15, 2016
Dark purple-brown with a small off-white head.
