It’s okay. Not as light and refreshing as I expect from these. Raspberry flavor is kind of week and only in the finish. Polla1ma (1) - Michigan, USA - MAY 8, 2016 does not count
Best beer at mountain town. A little weak on the raspberry but a great taste for anyone who likes wheat. DWestrick (758) - Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA - OCT 2, 2015
12oz bottle. exactly what it says it is - a raspberry wheat beer. probably awesome if you like this sort of thing superspak (5600) - Michigan, USA - AUG 18, 2015
12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 5/26/2015. Pours hazy deep orange/copper color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of sweet/lightly tart raspberry, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with well balanced raspberry juice, pale malt, fruity yeast, and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of sweet/lightly tart raspberry, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness. Light herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of raspberry, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, light pepper, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of raspberry juice, pale malt, fruity yeast, and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice fruited pale wheat ale style. All around good robustness and balance of raspberry juice, pale malt, fruity yeast, and earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and easy to drink. The base pale wheat ale was very well done to style as well. A nicely enjoyable offering. Alextricity (509) - Michigan, USA - SEP 9, 2013
050 13 526 ... I want to assume that means this was bottled the 50th day of 2013. Poured about three months later into a shaker pint on May 17th.
Appearance: The label is much like Mt. Pleasant’s other brews -- a train, with a colored background. This one is purple/pink, making it somewhat eye catching. The beer pours with a two finger head that doesn’t last two long. The color is a super hazy purple and brownish hue. Not much lacing.
Smell: Heavy raspberry with a dribble of beer ... definitely heavy on the raspberry, and not much else. The wheat and some malt is also traceable.
Taste: Well, I expect anybody that dislikes fruit beers to hate this one, as it’s definitely raspberry forward. It’s super easy drinking and has a significant raspberry profile, but I don’t find that it’s too much. I was a bit iffy on the first sip, but I got into it. There’s a tart character on the taste buds as well, which makes this super thirst quenching on a hot day. The after taste has a bit of wheat flavor to let you know that this is a beer. The feel is like a mildly carbonated pop, and is easy to slam if you’re super thirsty.
Look, it is what it is ... it’s a fruit beer, and it doesn’t try to be anything else. A LOT of raspberry, minimal bitterness, a solid sweetness and tartness... this beer would be absolutely fantastic for somebody that isn’t a fan of beer and/or craft beer. This isn’t a great beer, but it’s solid enough for the style. By the end of a bottle it becomes a bit much with the amount of sourness and sweetness, but that’s just enough for me... I couldn’t have much more. Another good beer from Mt. Pleasant.

Golden color brew with a white head. Not a very good aroma, makes me think of a smell you would find in a hospital. A mild raspberry flavor that somehow makes the beer taste awful. Leaves a bad aftertaste. HisBoyElroy (107) - Michigan, USA - AUG 7, 2013
Wheat, wheat, and more wheat. Raspberry is there, but it might as well not be. The wheat is over the top on this thing. rumproasts (5359) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - AUG 6, 2013
tap. Amber with small head. It may come as a shock, but this tastes like a generic wheat beer with mild raspberry. fattybladdy (628) - Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA - JUL 4, 2013
12oz bottle, pours a murky amber with an insane amount of bright white head. Took several minutes for this to settle to a point I could even think about beginning to drink it. Once settled though, not a bad looking beer. Not much in the way of aroma, want to say I pick up some berry, but it is faint. Wheaty taste with raspberry flavoring, reminds me of a friends home-brew. As far as raspberry beers go, it doesn’t stack up to Rubaeus, but certainly you could do worse on a hot day. RSRIZZO (1986) - Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA - JAN 15, 2013
12oz bottle courtesy of Headbanger. Color is a hazy amber with good carbonation and a big fluffy head. Aroma is bigger on the wheat then the berries. It has a lighter medium body with a smooth mouth feel. Flavor is light raspberry, a touch of spice and wheat. After taste has a slight bitterness and the berry comes out a little more. Overall its ok, nice to drink but not one of the better best raspberries I’ve had.
