Loaded with spice but slightly clumsy. Finishes with a chilli-like burn on the finish.

Hazy orange in colour with no head. There were suggestions that this beer may once have entertained a few follicles, but they had long since departed. There were aromas of orange peel, winey Belgian yeasts, a lick of dry grain and fruit juice. In the mouth there was carbonation that felt like applause on the tongue, lemon, tangerine and some dryish malt leading toward a finish more synonymous with some generous single malt whiskies I have had the pleasure of. The deciding criteria though, would I have another? Well... yes, but only if there isn’t anything else. Just a little bit humdrum.

On tap at MT Brewery 25/7/12. Poured a clouded honey gold colour with a moderately thick white foamy head. Laced OK. Yeast aroma. Tasted yeasty and grainy and with balanced malt and hops. Medium body. Soft slightly bitter finish.
