COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A medium-colored ale brewed with caramel and chocolate malts that give this beer a balanced, malty flavor with a hint of hoppiness. This combination gives our Amber Ale an easy drinking quality that’s not too sweet and not too strong.

Very average amber ale. Nothing bad about it, but nothing special either. Something that I could drink again, but never have to. Mediocre.

Tap. Pours clear dark amber with a small, fizzy off-white head, short retention with spare lacing. Aroma is caramel and toast malt, dates and raisins with light fruity hops. Flavor is malt dominant with light hops and bitterness, light diacetyl with a sweet finish. Medium body and carbonation with low warmth.

Every beer I had at Mudhook was average, this one was similar. It is a solid amber ale that fits style guidelines for maltiness and hopiness, but you won’t find anything over the top here, again, solid and drinkable.
