Dark brown pour with tan head. Aroma of light vanilla and some malts. It isnít coming through, taste has elements of vanilla and caramel as well. Itís good, but not great.
12 oz single bottle from Total Wine & More - Gilbert, AZ. Black appearance with a fluffy tan head, light lacing, mostly dissipating. Aroma of caramel/toffee, vanilla, chocolate, biscuit, light coffee and light roast. Similar flavor, rich, dark and moderately sweet with light roasted bitterness. Light to medium body, slightly thin with a lingering, sweet, light dry finish. Not bad, kind of dominated by adjuncts. Mindwarp (276) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 13, 2016
*From notes* Thanks to Francis for bring this beer back for me. Pours black with no head. Aroma of vanilla and chocolate. Taste is vanilla and not just a hint. A little thin but overall it is nice to have a vanilla beer that you get the vanilla flavor and its not hidden. bb (9241) - Alamo, California, USA - MAY 29, 2016
Draft. Blackish beer with a dark cream head. Caramel aroma. Artificial vanilla flavor with light caramel. Medium bodied. Caramel and artificial vanilla lingers with light grain. BiiruBierBeer (1043) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - DEC 19, 2015
Smell is caramel and malt. Taste is caramel, vanilla, malt, and a bit of mineral. Light to medium body, low carbonation, and no foam. maley1 (1235) - Calgary, CANADA - DEC 5, 2015
Dark brown pour with small tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, vanilla, caramel and slightly nutty. Taste of roasted malts, faint caramel, vanilla and a touch of hop bitterness on the finish. Full bodied, medium carbonation, well balanced.

Best one Iíve had from this brewery, which otherwise is average (based on the white and the IPA). Very nice aroma of strong vanilla and porter. Decent flavor too, strong vanilla and caramel. Canít decide if flavor is artificial or not, but Iíd drink this again. Sweet. DesertDevil (699) - Arizona, USA - JUL 7, 2013
On draft at Whole Foods Chandlerís Watering Hole. Medium brown in color with a thin, khaki head. Pungent nose of sickeningly syrupy vanilla and caramel with only the tiniest bit of roasty malt. The taste follows the nose with cloying vanilla and caramel; itís like cheap, artificial vanilla-flavored coffee creamer was added to a basic porter. Somewhat watery body. While itís miles better than the first time I sampled it months ago, this one is still a big letdown.
