UPDATED: SEP 27, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Clear golden, small head. Grassy nose. Dry with dense rounded mouthfeel. The malt character is excellent: Mild, yet crisp with notes of butter. Balanced but marked bitterness. An awesome pilsener that should rank near the top.

Golden with a thin head. Sparkly. Herbal hop and light pale malts on the nose. Well-balanced. Herbal notes and pale biscuity malts.

Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 21, 2010
It’s light-golden with a white, creamy head and the aroma has notes of malt, bread and flower. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, bread, citrus and a slightly dry and bitter finish. It’s a really nice pilsner.

rauchbier (3926) - Isle Of Beer, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - MAR 15, 2005
Tap, at the Brewpub. Jan 2005. Gold, good lasting white head and moderate soft condition. Quite malty and lacking in hop aroma, considering its a pils. Sweet caramel and solid flowery hops in the mouth and a long lingering malt and hop bitter finish.

Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 15, 2009
Draft at brewpub. Is a bright, 20k gold with a thick white head and lacing. Aroma is a little buttery and sour but not to the point of being offensive. Mild carbonation. Has a nice nuttiness. Hops throughout a granular background. Not bed but nothing special.

Many thanks for this bottle to Beerhunter111. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Malty nose with some spicy hops. Medium body.

Bottled (BB 03/2008)
A bit pale golden color, good white cloudy head. Grassy hoppy, buttery aroma. A bit metallic, grassy, slightly buttery flavor. Very typical South German handcrafted pils. Nicely drinkable.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a fluffy white head, slowly lacing. Fresh, citrus-fruity and herbal, slightly spicy hoppy aroma. Moderately bitter flavour, soft malty and slightly grainy taste with herbal hoppy and subtle fruity accents; crispy mouthfeel; dry, bitter-sweet and a bit slim finish. Smells promising and tastes clean but also a bit average.

50cl bottle. Looks very simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Mild malty aroma. Starts mild but not washy, malty, quite dry, not too bitter. Spicy-malty background. Finish a bit boring-malty. Okay.
