Taste is malty, roasted, sweetish with molasses, chocolate, raisins & dark fruity notes. Medium bodied, soft to medium carbonation, boozy malty nutty finish. Quite drinkable.

(Muifelbrouwerij Bik & Arnold Dubbel 1851) Bottle 330 ml at home, served into a tulip glass, ABV 8.5% Dark brown colour on the body, tall and thick tan head, with very good retention, leaving heavy lacing on the glass. Very nice aroma, lots of dark fruits, plums, dates, red grapes, sugars, light alcohol, red wine. Taste is sweet, slightly boozy, a bit of wood, red grapes, red wine, again dark fruits, molasses. Medium thin body, I expected it thicker. Soft carbonation. Overall very good, thicker it would be even better.

Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, fruit loaf, spice, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation with a lick of spritz, a little OTT on the carb front. So so.
