Barrel. Great Central railway beer festival. Pours golden white top but this is a high point. Aroma is sweet initially but funky thereafter not an ideal combination. Taste is juicy hop berry and then a fading bitter finish. Carbonation average body light medium. A disappointment. jjsint (3326) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 13, 2016
Gravity cask at the Last Heretic, Burton-on-Trent. Mid-gold, flat with a barely discernible white ring of head. Slightly juicy hoppy scent, with a suggestion of hay. Sweet fruity taste with more bitterness in the finish. Thin to medium body with lingering orange peel in the aftertaste. Decent but could be so much better with some added ’oomph’. Cask pint in The Pheasant, Wellington Shropshire. Not a lot going on in this fairly bland beer. Clear golden pour with a full white head. Boring blend of hops and light malts with neither showing any real dominance or character. Disappointing. teorn88 (7682) - Rimini, ITALY - OCT 7, 2015
Backlog rating. Cask at CPK, London. It pours a clean golden color with small white head. Aroma is freshly cut grass, dried leaves, biscuit, citrus. Taste has pine cones, citrus, dried leaves and caramel. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Overall, ok golden Mr_Pink_152 (5256) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - AUG 15, 2015

Clear medium orange - yellow color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, apple, dusty hops, zest notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, apple, earthy, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
Cask at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell on 1st August 2014. Hazy gold with a thinning off-white film and scant lacing. Inviting hoppy, yeasty aroma. Bitter hoppiness in-mouth with a solid, satisfyingly bitter finish that intensifies, seemingly with each sip. Fair amount of body and engaging mouthfeel. Cask - Pale malts with some earthy hops. Clear gold with a decent head. Bitter hops, perfumy and a long finish. Not bad. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2013
Cask conditioned handpump Locomotive Wellingborough 11/ A golden beer with a white bubbly head. Some decent enough citricity from the hops but there’s a little diacetyl. A little flowery and a touch of biscuit. Served warmer than desired. Acceptable only. downender (8729) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 12, 2012
On gravity at the Volunteer, Bristol 30/06/2012. Deep gold with some biscuity malts, summer fruits and a lingering bitter finish. Enjoyable.
