heavy (2911) - Split, CROATIA - NOV 6, 2017
Dec. ’16. On tap at Birra+, Rome (5.0% ABV) It poured a bit hazy golden body with a medium sized head. Aroma was malty and grainy, true to keller style, hay, bread, light biscuit and cooked fruits. Flavor was lightly sweet, fruity, with distinct spicy hops playing with honey and raw grain notes. Bitterness prevailed towards the finish which was long and pleasant, both fruity, honey and pepper hoppy. Medium to full bodied, oily on palate. A very well evaluated modern crafty rendition of a kellerbier.

Tap at Luppolo Station in Rome-Italy. Unfiltered rich golden pour, tick and irregular off-white foam. Nose: rustic notes of pale malt, a bit citric. Mouth: clean cereals and straw, frizzy spicy lovely finish. Academic execution a bit too clean, although I guess this should be seen as a plus. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
