COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Vestergaard (2074) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - OCT 16, 2016
From tap at Fermentoren Aarhus. Pours a dark, hazy reddish brown with a small, creamy head. Aroma has toasted malts, caramel, light vinous oaky notes, port wine, cherries, slight hint of bourbon maybe, heavy fudge. Taste is sweetish up front, but gets slight sour with a tannic oaky note, leading to a somewhat dry finish. Very little bourbon in this one. Average carbonation and a pretty full body.

Rich and complex aroma of caramel, prunes, raisins, dark malts, wood, vanilla, spice. Sweet but not cloying, very drinkable for such a strong beer. Loved it.

Bottle enjoyed at home
Pours dark brown with a creamy tanned head. Smell of bourbon, vanilla, toffee, dark malts, caramel, hints of booze. Medium to heavy sweet, bourbon and toffee, vanilla, some toast, dark malts. Moderate bitter finish. A step up from the original! More complex and interesting than the regular in all ways
