COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

First batch brewed at Ørbæk, late 2013 the brewing was moved to own equipment

Bottle enjoyed at home

Pours dark brown with a thick tanned head. Smell of toffee, bread, caramel, nice malty flavors. Heavy sweet, alot of malty flavor, alot of toffee, caramel, hints of vanilla and chocolate. Moderate bitter finish. Quite nice!

Look; tan top, dark fine ruby body. Aroma; fruity cream, blended in malts, milk, fruits. Taste; malts, red berries, wood, nuts, milk, fruits - leading to a nutty malty finish. On palate good n soft. Overall; okay+ beer. [33cl br btl abv9.4% BB.03.2020 #77 [email protected] Middelfart DK, shared with Rune]

Thanks to djoeye for sharing a 330ml bottle, #77. Ruby-dark reddish body colour. Decent fawn coloured head. Fair lacing. Smell of marmalade, sherry-like. Sweet malt-fruity flavours, caramel malts, sherry, and dried fruits. Sweet ending. Rather heavy to drink. Nice, warming sipper, however, far too sweet for a higher score (Tromsø 11.10.2015).

Medium dark Brown, medium carb. Aromatic, some nutty notes, marzipan, plasticine and dark chocolate. Full body, a bit sweet with some bitternes. The alcohol is a little unbalanced. Nice length. Good beer, but expects a lot after the smell...

Small beige head. Clear deep red body with carbonation. Earthy toffee and wild berry aroma with butterscotch and toasted grain notes. Sweet roasty butterscotch taste with fruity spicy notes. Full-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Sweet roasty earthy peppery aftertaste with fruity chocolate notes. Wow. Amazingly rich and flavourful, yet soft and easy to drink. (0.33l bottle, from Fish & Beer, Copenhagen.)

Bottle from bursprak. Many thanks! Dark amber colour, almost no foam. Soft carbonation. Aroma of raisins, sherry and caramel. Also light tart notes. Could be good but it’s unfortunately very watery.
