On bottle. Pours dark with small beige foam. Scent of citra and alcohol. Intense notes of chocolate. Sharp.

Apart from the alcohol that is clearly evident, it is a nice hoppy experience.

hrabren (1362) - Zagreb, CROATIA - AUG 8, 2017
On tap at Vrteška 2017, Shared with Višnja 666! Very dark, small tan head. Mostly malty with some hop aroma, potent. Dried fruit and licorice. Light body, soft carbonation, abrupt finish. Strong. Seems old, no hops here.

The best black IPA I’ve ever had. Very smooth, but distinctive taste. Alcohol presence hardly noticeable. Hop and malt balance is just perfect. At any given chance would gladly repeat this one.

Iznogud (4070) - CROATIA - MAY 27, 2017
On tap at Vrteška 2017. Pours brown with beige head. Roasted malts, chocolate, cocoa, sweet with some bitterness in finish. Medium bodied. Probably not the freshest considering the lack of hoppiness.

Marko (5930) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - MAY 7, 2017
Thanks Marko M. (or the others). Classic slightly oxidized IPA aroma, this time netting peachy and lemony notes, apart from all the malty/sugary bits. Aggressive, huge bitterness in the taste on some caramel. Smells okay in the end, but the taste and the mouthfeel are just too extreme.

FatPhil (16924) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 22, 2017
UPDATED: MAR 24, 2017 330ml bottle - "Work" at Koht - thanks Kairi!
Spicyish roast aroma. Basically, black, small beige head. Slightly sweet coconutty taste, expands to a very rich roast, quite burnt. Very full palate, smooth carbonation. Big drying tanniny bite and resins. A touch harsh and aggressive, but the alcohol is well covered, so a bonus point for that. (Anna likes this about .2-.3 more, because of the roast and fullness especially, and considers it a very solid hoppy stout.)

Juks (949) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 22, 2017
330ml bottle, thanks Kairi. Pours reddish dark brown, beige head stays. Aroma is roasty, hoppy, candy, some coffee. Taste is bitterish, roasty, hoppy, creamy, some vanilla, spicy. Spicy aftertaste. Medium to full bodied, average carbo, creamy milky texture, well covered alco. Nice one, I like this!

Marduk (8218) - Reval, ESTONIA - MAR 22, 2017
UPDATED: MAR 23, 2017 330ml bottle (thanks Kairi). Very dark brown almost black color. Medium size, yellowish head, stays. Nettles, sweet, coffee, pine, grapefruit in aroma. Pine, milky, grapefruit, roast and flowers in taste. Milky roast, pine and spruce needles in aftertaste. Alcohol is almost hidden. Pleasant mouthfeel. Full palate. Excellent brew.

Pours pitch black with a huge brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, Cocoa, vanilla, grassy hops, ripe fruits and some dark grains. The taste is heavy roasted with notes of liquorice, vanilla, caramel, dark sweet Malts and some citrussy bitterness.
