Bottle from Plovmand, thanks! Alcohol soaked raisins, coconut, vanilla, light chocolate, nuts and almonds. Like a nice liquor, the alcohol doesn’t come across offensive. Light astringent finish with a dash of coffee. The flavour depth, however, does not match that of the aroma and with time the beer becomes rather dull., almost watery given the style. Not bad but I expected more. Sebilinz (2621) - Linz, AUSTRIA - JAN 16, 2015
Bottle. Thanks to Fonefan. Brown body with fast disappearing tan head. Aroma is strong light roasted malts. Taste is malty with some hints of sourness. Aftertaste is malty with nice bitterness. Nice one.

BBD: Jan 2019.
In short: Some dry dark ale.
Pours dark copper with little tan head. Short head retention, poor lacing. Caramel, malty, raisins, liquorice aromas. Medium body, average carbonation, slightly oily texture. Taste is quite sweet, plums, raisins, liquorice, little buttery notes. Lacks more diacetils and maybe has a bit more carbonation than expected for a scotch ale. It becomes some dry with ripe fruit flavours, like some other scandinavian fruity sour ales (i’m thinking of Rhodette or maybe Tornerose).Quite peculiar brew.

Bottle, thanks to Plovmand, cheers mate! Light haze on this deep red - amber beer. Small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and slightly soft, semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Unsweet caramel toffee malts, slightly thin. Marmite accentuated molasses. Mild dried fruits and a little spice round things off. Rich if a tad dry.
Bottle... Pours clear and copper with a small, creamy, white head. The faint aroma hints at caramel and dates. Full-bodied with a buttery mouthfeel and stinging carbonation. The flavor supplies heaps of caramel and a generous measure of hoppy bitterness. Unlike most Scotch ales, this one is more bitter than sweet. Bottle generously provided by Plovmand! McTapps (6976) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - AUG 25, 2014
Bottle from trade with Bamsen79 - many thanks! The beer pours out in a deep dark brown colour with steady low head and medium body. Aroma of raisins and barley. Taste pf roasted barley, malt, raisins, rum, plums, prunes, trof and leaves. Quaffable and smooth finish. Nice beer.
