Munkholm Münchener is a dark, rich and flavourful non-alcoholic beer with elements of roasted malts. The beer has a rich sweetness, a low fruitiness and a nice bitterness, and is a great accompaniment with classic Norwegian foods and fried meat dishes.

Amber with a white head - sweet wort aroma - same sweet wort taste - short sweet finish - to much wort and sweetness

500ml can from a trade with Cunningham, huge thanx!
Pours pale amber colored with small soapy head. Smells malty sugary, with a typical Low Alc smell. Starts malty-grainy, slight sugary and artifical. The middle part has a good malt base. Goes into a malty-bitterish finish with some hop flavor.

Clear, light brown body with a small off-white head, some lacing. Sweet aroma with mostly wort and pale malts. Light to moderate sweet taste with a very light bitter finish. The beer was served straight from the fridge, and that may be why the flavours are faint. However, the wort flavour is somewhat less intrusive that what I get from many non-alcoholic beers, this one is actually possible to drink. Light and watery mouthfeel. A lousy beer, of course, but not as bad as the other ones from Munkholm.

The foam head tastes of coffee and apricot, but the rest is rather tasteless and metallic. The bitterness is ok.

gunnar (9390) - Sandnes, NORWAY - AUG 6, 2012
Can. Pours clear dark brownish with a big off-white head. Aroma of caramel, light burnt. Taste is light sweet, light roasted malts and caramel. Not too bad for a beer with almost no alcohol...

jikvig (269) - NORWAY - JUL 22, 2012
Aroma: A slight hint of toast and dark malt but a unpleasent plastic overtone. Flavour :Not much of going on. A little malt (toasted cereal), but not a whole lot. Summary: Its does have a unpleasent plastic aroma, and it is watery..
