COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Bottle. Pale yellow with thin white head. Weak aroma of sweetish malt and grass. Flavour is grainy with an astringency in the finish. Not very pleasant.

Bottle. Pours deep golden and white head. Decent malts-based beer, light to medium bodied and leaves sweetish finish. Not outstanding in any way, but not bad at all.

From notes. Had on draught at the Steak Botique for dinner on Saturday in Graz. The pour is a darker golden yellow color with a thicker white head and a ton of effervescent lace rising up through the glass. There is a little bit of soapy lace left behind, but it’s not that good looking, especially for a märzen. The aroma is interesting. It’s really sweet up front. There is a lot of grain, a heavy maltiness, and a light alcohol lingering through to the finish. There isn’t a lot else happening here with the grains. The flavor is similar. There is a big time sweetness throughout this that just doesn’t do a lot of justice for anything. The grains and malts are strong and independent, and nothing really balances. The mouth feel is light and definitely under carbonated with a lingeringly bitter alcohol that transitions to a really sweet malt. It’s interesting, but not my thing for sure.

Gewoon standaard goed bier.
