Bottled, from Landbierparadies, Nuremberg. Hazy nut brown, mid sized head. Aroma of toffee and butter. Mid sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Lots of caramel and butter, notes of syrup and tin. Low bitterness. Very mellow and harmonious, but also a buttery caramel bomb.

UPDATED: JAN 6, 2010 Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It’s a clear, dark golden to amber beer with an off-white head. Sweet and malty nose with some fruityness going on. Malty flavor with some ryebread. Fruity hints and bitterness too. Medium body, quite dry. Bready, caramel finish with some fruits. A decent one, nothing more, but at least easy to drink and all that. Rating: 5-4-5-3-10-2.7. 090821MiP (15960) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - SEP 5, 2009
Bottle. What’s said in previous rating stands, but I lifted the score slightly. It’s actually quite tasteful, but I could do without the metallic note in the finish. Not as bready flavor as I noted last time, but more on the fruity side. Still a bit low on bitterness. A beer that goes down easily, but there’s nothing special about it. 100106
