Bottled, from Landbierparadies, Nuremberg. Hazy nut brown, mid sized head. Aroma of toffee and butter. Mid sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Lots of caramel and butter, notes of syrup and tin. Low bitterness. Very mellow and harmonious, but also a buttery caramel bomb. Quack-Duck (9540) - Down South, GERMANY - MAY 22, 2008
bottle, díky pivnizube! Clear mahogany colour, tiny head. Malty nose with hints of achocolate and roasted malts. Medium-bodied, flavours of malt, roasetd malt and chocolate. Hoppy flavours, which are resiny and have hints of medicine, with very shy and hardly noticeable salty-sour tinge. Very nice. yespr (48876) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - AUG 21, 2009

Bottle from Landbierparadies. Medium brown in colour with a slight, off-white head. Sweet, caramel and nut aroma. Flavours of toffee and berry fruit before a dryish finish. Fine. Grima (2511) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - FEB 7, 2012
Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

Der Antrunk ist sehr lecker röstmalzig. Im Nachgeschmack ists etwas bitter, jedoch wirkt es sehr angenehm und macht das Dunkle sehr ausgewogen. Lässt sich sehr angenehm trinken!
