COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Pasteurised. Available bottled, and in nitro keg and can versions.
Ingredients: Malted barley, chocolate malt, water, hops and yeast.
First brewed in Lady’s Well Brewery, Cork in 1856. Heineken purchased the brewery in 1983. Beer now produced in Heineken Nederland.
Also known as Irish Amber and Draught Irish Ale.

Color ámbar, translúcido, con capa de espuma de dos dedos de grosor (no mucha retención). Carbonatación a tope. Aroma a malta y caramelo. Sabor maltoso y acaramelado, con final herbal aportado por el lúpulo. En retrogusto, muy leve, queda algo de chocolate en boca, pero se desvanece casi al instante. Muy básica.

0.33 l bottle at Sheridan’s Irish Pub, Zagreb, Croatia. Shared with Marko. Clear golden to amber, not really red, diminishing creamy off-white head. Heavy brown sugar aroma, caramel, dry fruit, overwhelming. Grainy flavors, sweet. Light to medium body, medium carbonation, malty caramel finish. Not my favorite.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2016 Tap. Clear reddish brown with beige head. Aroma has light malt, caramel, some roasted character and is lightly sweet and has only hints of hops. Taste is malty with light bread, caramel and slightly roasted with hints of grassy hops. Finish is dry and malty.

Bottle - Clear reddish amber colour, small average life beige head. Malty aromas with caramel and stone fruits. Taste s sweet with caramel and bread, some fruitiness and low hop bitterness. Light body, average carbonaion, dry finish. Not a big one, but not bad either.

33cl bottle @ pizzeria in Linköping. Poured amber color with a thick white head. This is one watery brew. Caramelly malty aroma, toast. Flavor has caramel, light sweetness, faint hops. Light body.
