Pours a light red, perhaps auburn color. Two fingers tan head. Low retention, low lacing.

Aroma not strong, but dominately light roasted malts, maybe some cocoa.

Taste is malty and sweet. I little cocoa, a little toffee. Also a little pepper.

Mouthfeel is light, to medium light. Very easy drinking. Creamy and well carbonated. Its only a tad better or maybe spicy, on the finish

Overall, this is better than people are saying. It’s not great, but okay. It’s enjoyable. If you’re looking to dissect a beer, this isn’t it. I’d drink this again.

33 cl at De Toeter, Groningen. Clear amber color with low white head. Aroma: cereal. Taste: roasted malts. Texture is thin. Carbonation is average.

.5l pour from tap into glass mug at a bar in Kazakhstan. Mildly dry, light strawberry, medium body, no finish. Very mild overall. Nothing unpleasant, but fairly unremarkable.

Clear ruby brown color with white foam layer. The smell is nearly negligible. The taste is a little sweet, low in carbonation, with some hopping and generally a bit boring. Calm aftertaste.

Bei der Grünen Woche gezapft getrunken, braun-rötliche Farbe, Karamellaroma, etwas süß, sogar etwas Kirsche zu finden. Später säuriger. Netter karamelliger Abgang

On tap at O’Connor’s Old Oak Irish [email protected] Poured nicely, with a head that settles. Ruby red, clear. Rather thin bodied. I expected it will remind me of Beamish Red, but it didn’t. Barely ok beer, but absolutely not worth the price asked. Nothing to do with Irish, and not really much to do with an ale. Overall a disappointment for the high expectations. Top 10 Irish beers my "you know hwat".

Gorgeous red colour and a lovely creamy head. Really creamy smooth taste and a little bitter bite ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
