Probably the best amber I’ve drank. Creamy and smooth, belongs in every american pub. pilsnerrogge (2935) - Finspång, SWEDEN - JUN 20, 2002
Dry and roasty with dark chocolate. Very tasty! Braudog (6675) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JAN 7, 2004
Nice sticky foamy head over ... you guessed it ... a red beer. The aroma is airy and starchy like a green bottle import lager, but the flavor has just a hint of coffee grounds mixed with a nice smooth caramel malt. Nice "in between" beer. beaconstreet (811) - Washington DC, USA - OCT 8, 2004
Outstanding sheath of white head streaming down the sides of the glass. Very impressive look that keeps for a long time on the sides of the glass. A mature copper color. A good tempered wheat taste to this one.

It’s Murphys! There is no MIDDLE GROUND!

Sweer nutty aroma, copper colour, slight head. Roasted malt with a nutty flavour, good bitterness. Creamy and smooth. A very tasty ale Koskela (505) - Marysville, California, USA - MAY 8, 2012
Smells sweet and malty with a nice red/orange color. The first taste, bitter sweet in a good way, this beer had a very smooth finish and a medium body. The bitter and sweetness battle eachother also in a good way. This is the best irish red ive had to this date. Good job murphys, a beer worth rebuying for sure sspc (17) - Texas, USA - APR 4, 2007
