Black color with a nice lasting creamy brownish head. Aroma is cocoa. Flavor is cocoa as well, not much bitterness. Maybe a little thin to be a stout. heemer77 (5358) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - NOV 10, 2003
UPDATED: SEP 21, 2006 I am trying thos again after a couple years. From a nitro can. The body poured with a very black color and a nice light khaki colored head. The light aroma has some coffe, chocolate and cooked sweet potatoes. The taste was light coffee with some notes of metal and some very light dark chocolate. I get the feeling this is superior without the nitro. The mouthfeel is thin and lifeless. Jedsbrew (465) - Rhineland, Missouri, USA - NOV 6, 2003
This dark brew had a grand head and lacing with a toasty chocolate or fudge aroma. Medium bodied and super creamy, with tasteful chocolate and coffee flavors and a dryish finish. Perhaps slightly sweeter than the Guinness version but otherwise of equal quality. baobubba (454) - Starkville, Mississippi, USA - NOV 4, 2003
"Draught" - The widget popped and took away my flavor. I paid for that too. Standard looking widget induced head (creamy, tall, lasting, off-white). Aroma is subtle due to the tiny bubbles, but I ferreted out some roast. Seemed flat (due to the small bubbles). Dry with a light roasty finish and fruit lingering. Qualities seem OK, but the quantities of those are just too low. Suttree (6466) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 2, 2003
Draught Can. Looks great when you pour - nice waterfall, then settles to a thick, creamy head. Smells fruitier than I would have thought. Watery. Not much to distinguish itself.

Cascading mocha to black body, creamy nitro head. Light aroma of coffee and chocolate. Virtually no carbonation, tastes like coffee beans. Very smooth. Pretty good stuff. whaleman (2178) - North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 17, 2003
Black with dark amber edges and a widget-induced cream head. Has properties of mocha and soy sauce. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. A nice alternative to Guinness available in many bars. Wrath (362) - Valparaiso, Indiana, USA - OCT 16, 2003
Dark black color with huge head. Nice roasted malt aroma.Taste has a smooth creamy coffee feel to it but not strong. Kind of tastes like a light Guiness.Finishes a little dry but has a nice bitter touch. kumite56 (473) - Cordova, Tennessee, USA - OCT 4, 2003
Nice roasty malt aroma and the appearance can't be beat. Huge tan lasting head with lots of lacing to boot. Dark black color. Flavor is dry, roasty and moderate body. Not a bad brew. scoobyluv (511) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - OCT 4, 2003
to me, it tastes like a watery guiness. smells and tasted a bit like expresso. poured black with a thin head that lasted the entire glass. still not a fan though.
