Had this one at Lord Mike’s Pub in Amsterdam a few times. This really took me back as the first stout that really made me say “wow” that’s good beer. Since then I’ve had it a few times on draft and from widget cans. It is a smooth great dry stout. Pours very dark brown almost black with a lasting creamy tan lacy, thick head. Smells of dark and roasted malt, coffee and chocolate with some smoky elements. Eventually bits of dark berry comes out as it warms. Medium watery body that goes down very well. Very smooth but a little watery. It has elements of dark malt like a Mild and rather thin for a stout. Sweet with a bitter roast bitter finish. The roast is light with chocolate and coffee. Super drinkable and smooth.

UPDATED: NOV 16, 2017 On a nitro keg. Black body with a creamy beige head. Strong roasted malt and coffee character with notes of sour cherry, chocolate and cream. Medium body with a creamy texture. Great stout.

0,5l can. Very dark, black colour with ever lasting creamy beige head. Beutiful. Aroma: Caramel, roasted coffee beans, sweet chedar notes. Taste: Has a very malty, roasted start with a light bitter mouthfeel. Medium body with no carbonation at all. Medium lasting soft and pleasent bitter finish. Feels a bit weak becouse of the lack of carbonation, but tasty and a good drink.

From Dec 2006

Poured from 16oz can(nitro) avery dark brown with reddish hues and a large head of foam.

The smell is very light but I can sense some roasted malt.

The taste has some nice roastiness to it with a touch of sweetness. The finish has a semi bitter taste to it that is quite pleasant. Good sessionable Irish Dry Stout and I like it a lot...I could drink it all day. ;^)

500 ml can with a nitrogen widget. Pours jet black colour with thickest heavy creamy beige head. Massive overwhelming lacing in the glass. Nitrogen does wonders.
The aroma was strong bitter coffee, bitter chocolate, roasted barley malts. The taste was like drinking fizzy cold strong bitter coffee mixed with a hop bite lurking on the back end. Silky texture and dry finish. Nice solid macro. But I'm neither a coffee fan nor a stout guy.

Легенда из Ирландии. Murphys имеет достаточно жженый вкус со слабым копченым послевкусием. Пиво очень плотное, не питкое.
