On tap, thick, creamy tan head and a dark brown appearance. Aroma is roasted malt, bread, a bit of coffee. Taste is thin, toasted malt, some chocolate. Somewhat unsatisfying.

Murphy’s Irish Stout ma ciemnobrązową barwę i ładną, drobną, beżową pianę. W aromacie kawa, paloność i odrobina czekolady. W smaku również kawa na pierwszym planie. Wtórują jej nuty palone i czekoladowe. Trochę zbyt wodniste, ale lekkie i pijalne!

Ar: Pineapple, red apple; milk chocolate and malted milk balls; a bit of moss and toffee. Ap: Dark brown with a light, airy nitro head, colored tan; head retention is very good, leaving a large crown of froth. T: Toast and lightly roasted coffee; medium-low sweetness; ash, red apple, and pineapple mid-palate; high bitterness, but quite smooth; finish is char, light toast, and bitterness. P: Medium-light body with low carbonation, a typical nitro smoothness; finish is dry. O: A tasty dry Irish stout on nitro; British yeast profile with nice accents of coffee, chocolate, and ash; bitterness is firm and lends structure to the beer; looks and smells solid, as well.

Can. Near black in colour with nito carbonation. Aromas are of sweet chocolate and a bit of cherry pit. Flavors are of dark chocolate, ashy dark roast coffee, chalk, and a bit of cookie-like malts. Light bodied and somewhat watery. Decent overall, but so much more mild than I remembered when I used to drink this in my pre-rating days.

440ml widget can. 4.1% abv. Pours out deep brown, almost black, no highlights. Creamy beige coloured nirto head. Nose - dark chocolate, heavy roast and caramel. Taste - coffee, caramel, dark chocolaye and roast. Dry end. Nitro body and texture which I happen to enjoy. This was always my favourite canned dry stout. It destroys Guinness if we are to make comparisons.

Can, 4Free which is the best kind of beer. Pours like a nitro can, clear black, thick ultra creamy beige head, long lasting with good lacing. Roasty, malty flavor with hints of tobacco and cocoa. Light plus sweet, very light bitter. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. Good enough to have another.

Dunkelbraun nicht ganz blickdicht mit schöner weißen Schaumkrone. Schlankes Stout mit ausgeprägter Röstnote

Jyrsa (832) - - MAY 26, 2017
Another staple beer unrated. Dark brown, slightly transcluent and of course an appropriate tan head. Nose is chocolate and some nitrogen. Chocolate, some pale malts, creamy with something just a bit off. Smooth like a stout should be. All in all quite good for a soulless mass produced stout.

440ml can, opens with huge burst of nitrogren. Pours dark brown turning to black, smooth thin creamy head. Silky mouth-feel, mild chocolatey-coffee flavours.
