UPDATED: AUG 18, 2014 Re-visited and rated up as my palate has taken a small step up in sophistication. Nice promising aroma, full bodied, high bitterness and reminiscent of tainted Chevron Ecuadorian rainforest water acridness. Quite satisfying. The beer that is. Cask at The Local Taphouse, Melbourne. Cloudy golden. Lychee and pineapple up front. Fairly sweet with medium body and soft mouthfeel. Plenty of tropical fruit. Long salty bitterness. Pleasant! Choos (754) - Taylors Hill, AUSTRALIA - FEB 8, 2014
Aroma: malty and a bit of greenery giving way to caramel
App : hazy orange brown with a fluffy white head
Flavour: light malt, good zesty hop character

Spicy hops aroma, malt flavours, smooth, refreshing with a mild bitterness. I like it, drink it cold. Rosslew (320) - AUSTRALIA - JAN 18, 2014
Bit of orange look and has that in taste. Not great in head retention but looks clear in the glass. Not heavy in taste or overtly hoppy. Can taste the citrus late. Unlike its label it doesn't pack a big punch. Would be good to drink with fish meal.

Pours a light copper colour with a small white head that lays a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma of american hops; passion fruit, grapes and some grass. Flavour is really piney at first, then some light caramel and some light citric tones. Quite a lot of peach also. Some sourness in there aswell, but not that much. Quite bitter aftertaste. Medium body with a sticky carbonation anf a really dry palate. A good beer indeed. Bygers (1185) - Oslo, NORWAY - DEC 27, 2013
Bottle 0,33l. Pours a dark golden colour with a white head. Aroma of citrus. Taste of citrus and fruit with low bitterness and slight honey in the after taste.

Looks a bit like muddy water. Great hoppy smell. Nice caramel taste. Medium bitterness. Leaves my teeth feeling a little slimey. Not a bad beer.

Very pleasant, easy to drink. Grassy bitter, it could be a bit fruitier with the NZ hops, but still one of the best Aussie pale ales. cgarvieuk (24515) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 22, 2013
